We are pleased to represent a financial services firm based in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina area, in its search for a successor to carry on the excellent level of service it has provided to its clients for more than 20 years. The firm’s revenue is primarily commission-based, and financial and insurance products placed with clients include mutual funds, fixed annuities, variable annuities, life insurance, health insurance and long-term care insurance. Prospective buyers or their affliliates should carry licensing for life insurance and Series 6 and 63, at minimum, to serve the majority of the firm’s clients’ needs. The firm also represents health insurance and long-term care products. While the latter licensing would be necessary for a buyer to continue providing all the same services, total commission revenue for those products was only about 8% of total revenue in 2024. Included with this business are many long-term relationships with clients who have depended upon it for a wide variety of financial product needs, with more than 240 client households considered to be active clients.
